Long before branding moved from being just a buzz word to an accepted part of marketing terminology, cowboys branding cattle knew far more about the subject than anybody else.
With the value of the brand usually outstripping the value of capital assets, branding is a serious business. Neither science nor an academic skill, it’s an art form most successfully applied by companies with intuition, imagination, an understanding of consumer behavior and courage!
So is it a verb or a noun?
Well it’s both really.
